Friends of Goostrey Station (FOGS) Privacy Statement

The personal details you provide or have provided will be held and used by FOGS, which is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers. The details which we collect (or have previously collected) and hold about you are details which you provide (or have previously provided) which may include your name, address, telephone numbers and email address.

The information provided to us by you is held by the Secretary as Data Controller of the Club for the purpose of communicating with you about meetings, events and other activities in which you are likely to be interested as a member of FOGS.

Your personal data will be held securely by FOGS electronically and/or as a paper record. The information may be shared with other FOGS members by way of a membership list which may be used solely in connection with the activities of FOGs. It will not and must not be shared or made available to any other parties. If you do not want all or any of your personal information to be shared in this way you must advise the Data Controller.

The lawful basis for FOGS to hold your personal information is that it has a legitimate interest as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in using this data to communicate with you on Club matters.

FOGS will keep your data in accordance with its Data Retention Policy as it applies from time to time and, subject to legal requirements, will delete your data upon notification that you no longer wish to be a member of FOGS.

Accessing and updating your personal information
